It's okay. I prefer nn Ozzie or Oz better though. And honestly I don't think of Oscar the Grouch at all - it wasn't even the first thing that came to mind. Is that really an association? Crazy it would be--I didn't think a kid would be bullied for that, if they do shame on the bully. It's a great name to use.
