I like seeing this name on paper. I like it in theory a lot, it's sweet and gentle and poetic and whimsical but not overtly ridiculous.But in real life there is something so unremarkable about it, it becomes invisible. I met someone named Wren at an event once, and spent several hours in her company. Even though I heard the name "Wren" being used many times, it never registered as her name, the entire time. It was an odd feeling. Like if you met someone whose name was "Then". My brain couldn't grab onto it. For that reason I like it best as a middle name. I like it for any gender.
