Anastasia is gorgeous but too princessy. Ana looks too short for some reason, as opposed to Stasia, Stacy or Annie/Anna.

I love Anastasia. Ana is *fine* but pretty boring imo. I prefer the eastern nicknames…Stasya, Nastya, Asya…I even like Ani over Ana.

I think Anastasia is very nice and I love the meaning. I’d probably prefer it for a mn myself, but it is lovely.

Nice enough name. The Anastasia I know usually goes by Stacy.

Like it, but I prefer the spelling Anastacia because of the singer.

I have known an Anastasia known as Ana and her sister was Elisabeth known as Lisa. I like Anastasia and Ana too as nickname and a name in itself. Two of my fellow brownie leaders are from Brazil and Peru, Ana and Abril so I have positive associations with Ana.

Don’t like it too much. I liked the movie as a kid but always preferred the nickname Anya.

Anastasia is beautiful! Ana, not really big on the spelling and not a fan of the name on its own either.
