I prefer Kinga in Polish but Inga in an English speaking context for obvious reasons.
This comparison really got me thinking about why I really enjoy Kinga while finding the sound of the almost identical Inga so off-putting. And I'm not sure. I think it has something to do with how the i softening the initial k balances the heavy sounds of ng, while the initial i on its own almost disappears.
