I think that Darlene is a beautiful girl name, and prefer it to Daria.

I like Daria but not Darlene. Darlene seems dated to the 1970s.

Darlene is ghastly, like a variant of Darling; I greatly prefer Arlene or Arline. Daria isn't bad, but it's nothing special.

I first read this as "Darla and Darlene" instead of "Daria and Darlene".

I think Daria sounds very regal but a name that can be easily used in everyday life. As a millennial, it also reminds me of the animated series called "Daria".
