It has a friendly, youthful, assertive vibe.
I associate it with "king" like French roi.
Has a kind of butch glamor because Rob Roy.
It's not my style, probably because I feel like it's midcenturyish - a dad name when I was growing up. The oy sound doesn't hit the spot for me aesthetically. If it were new to me I'd probably like it. I imagine it's cool like Kai but 100 years ago.

Pleasantly Scottish and a family name; very dated but could make a come-back: short and snappy.
