They're alright.
Carys reads as "care-iss" to me, and I have to remind myself it's "cahr-iss," and then I think oh, it sounds a little too much like "caress." That's the main reason I'm not attracted to it. But I think I would like it fine, as the name of someone I met.
Dilys is nifty. Seems to have an old-fashioned feminine sharpness. I like how the -ys ending looks. It also seems to me like it's free of trendy-style appeal, but also doesn't sound dated, and that makes it seem more interesting.
