Aw, I love the idea of a little Doris! It does have a sprightly energy to it. And I love that it's so ancient and mythological, while also being able to make a mean casserole. Doris has that element of cheery, practical and sturdy glamour that I think will rise in popularity soon.
You have some great combos!
Doris Amy sounds like the most steadfast best friend around
Doris Daphne knows how to have a good time
Doris Fern is cute as a dang button
I also like the idea of laying on the "Casserole Goddess" vibe real thick and pairing it with other ancient-queen-next-door names, like:
Doris Delia
Doris Irene
Doris Cynthia (though Cynthia Doris does flow better)
Doris Penelope
Doris Laverna
Doris Lydia
