Middle name for sophie
Which middle name for Sophie/Sophia. We are calling her Sophie but considering using Sophia as first name. Middle names are Juliet, Belle, Emilia, Marie or Bell-Marie. Last name is one symbol.

Using Sophia as the first name is better than just Sophie imo. Juliet is pretty as a middle name, Belle is ok, Emilia could be a bit of a mouthful, Marie doesn’t flow that well, and Bell-Marie is a bit weird.

Certainly go for Sophia. Rather more choices than fewer: Sophia can be Sophie or Fia, but Sophie has nothing to fall back on.Sophia Juliet, or Sophia Isobel, or Sophia Emily, or maybe even Sophia Mirabel. Bell-Marie is a mess.

I agree Juliet, Isobel, Isabel, Emily and Amy go best

Sophia Marie is my personal favorite. It just flows nicely and has a classic sound.Sophia Belle is also nice. I would rank it 2nd.Sophia Juliet is just ok. Sophia Bell-Marie is also just ok. If you really are going to potentially just be using Sophie as the full first name, then Sophie Bell-Marie sounds better. I don't like Sophia Emilia. The names sound too similar, too much like a rhyme, and it just doesn't flow very nicely. These are just my personal opinions of course! You and the trusted people in your life have the opinions that matter the most on this!

With Juliet, Sophie as the full name sounds better but either works.
With Belle, Sophie Belle sounds cute but I'd prefer Sophia Belle as the full formal name and Sophie / Sophie-Belle as a nickname.
With Emilia the full name would have to be Sophie. Sophia Emilia is very hard to say.
Marie is boring but it could work with Sophie or Sophia as a first name.
I like Sophia Bell-Marie because each part of the name has a different ending. Sophie Bell-Marie is a little too singsongy.
