Somehow I missed the announcement about John Legend and Chrissy Teigen's newest son, but since I posted the last one I thought I'd share.Wren Alexander Stephens (3 mo.) was born in June via surrogate and joined siblings:Luna Simone (7)
Miles Theodore (5)
Esti Maxine (8 months)The middle name was to honor and include their surrogate, Alexandra.WDYT about it individually and as a set?~☆September Song Recommendation☆~

I don't think Wren works on a boy. I don't know why; the sound is perfectly unisex and it it's just an English word name, but it says "girl" to me. I like Luna, Wren, Theodore, and Alexander. Simone could grow on me. Miles sounds whiny and annoying. Esti looks too nicknamey to me, but I see that it's a full name that just happens to be short and end with "i".Maxine isn't really on my radar much but I think it's the same style as Simone? They both seem like "dated feminized names" in a very specific way, different than other "feminized names" like Alexandra-- the "one/ine" kind of ending stands out somehow. I think these names would also fit the category of Yvonne, Yvette, Charlene, Maureen, and maybe Louise and Nicole. If I could make minor changes:
Luna Simone
Milo Theodore
Essie Mattea (ideally short for something -- Esther or Esperanza?)
Ren Alexander (I want to see Wren as unisex but it's still girly to me)

I like the name. I love Wren on boys and I think the combo is amazing and flows really well.
As a set, I like most of the names and I think they all go very well together except maybe for Luna Simone which feels more modern than the rest.

I didn't even know the meaning, and I thought Esti Max* sounded like a brand of sweetener. I think Esther Maxine "Esti" would fit better.Wren is ok. Having not come across any babies named Wren, it still seems unisex to me at this point. I feel like Alexander is boring, but it matches Theodore pretty well. I like Luna Simone and Miles Theodore.

I must be officially getting old because I like the middle names so much more. A sibset of Simone, Theodore, Maxine and Alexander seems so much more interesting to me than Wren, Luna, Miles and Esti. Something about these short little popular names seems soulless and anemic to me. Like they are little personified brand names. I get some kind of Uncanny Valley revulsion when I see them grouped together. Weird! Anyway, Wren on a boy is neat. I like that, it's romantic. Makes me think of Christopher Wren which satisfies my inner Dark Academia lust.

I would love to see the sib set of Simone, Theodore, and Maxine. I'd love to Maxine period. I know an absoutely lovely Maxidne and it's made me love her name.

Yeah, the middle names are much more attractive and cohesive to me too. But it’s just a matter of taste, long and classic vs. short and modern. Celebrities usually tend to lean towards the later.

Even ten years ago I think I would have preferred the first names! I don't know why my tastes are shifting, I find all these short, clipped new names rather boring now. Who am I.

I don't care for Wren on a boy or the name Esti, but other than that it's a pretty solid set. My favorite is Miles Theodore. I also really love Alexander.

I like seeing Wren on a boy!

Wren I see more as feminine, the names are ok together but Wren and Luna go best. Notice the 2 youngest are 5 months apart

They wanted 4 kids and I guess they couldn’t wait because they found a surrogate when she was still pregnant with Esti. Sounds like a lot of work tbh but they must really enjoy it 🤷‍♀️

I first thought of Wren as a masculine name before I knew it was widely used for girls, so this feels somewhat vindicating (lol), but I've seen it so often on girls now that I'm conflicted. It's charting for boys in England though!I like how they continued the classic middle names trend, even if they didn't do it on purpose this time.
