Re: Sally Ann wdyt? nt
in reply to a message by )(
I wouldn't say Sally was a favorite, but I like it much better than Sara or Sadie. It's cute.
Sally Ann is often used as a nn for the Salvation Army so I wouldn't use it. Sally Jo, Sally Rae, Sally Jean, or Sally Marie would be my choices if I wanted a Sally combo that would work as a double-barreled name. Before you criticize a man, walk a mile in his shoes. That way, when you criticize him, you're a mile away and you have his shoes!

I've also never heard it be called Sally Ann, and am from America. Weird nickname for it.

Do you mean Salvation Army? I am in many thrifting (thrifting is trending now!) fb groups so I knew about Sally Ann being a nn for that.
