Chloe or Kimberly?
Which one?

I like them both, but Kimberly is more special to me. It was the name of my late aunt, and also the name of the street I grew up on. I agree that it's pretty 80s cheerleader, but I kind of like that about it.
Kimberly ...
Much more timeless, less of a cat or dog name, less bratty and less sounding like a gross wet nose-blowing.

Chloe. I've only known two, but they were good people. Kimberly, where I live, would be a spelling error for a town that used to be the diamond-mining capital of the galaxy, probably, but is now just a dusty country town in a semi-desert with huge problems - unemployment, infrastructure, inadequate local government ... South Africans do use Kim as a given name, but I've never met a Kimberley, let alone a Kimberly.
Kimberly. I don't like it very much, but the name Chloe leaves a bad taste in my mouth for some reason; I'd choose just about anything over Chloe.
Chloe hands down. Kimberly is almost caricaturally 1980s at this point.
I like both, but I like Chloe more
There's something about Kimberly that stops me from putting it higher after a certain point. I'm not sure what it is. I think the nicknames are cute (Kim and Kimmy) and I have 3 nice to neutral associations as opposed to one association with Chloe. So, I am unsure as to why I can't place Kimberly higher

Chloe, it seems more timeless to me. I mean it’s even in the Bible! Kimberly is a bit dated and not that interesting.
