I like Ever in general and find it very name-y.

I like Evermore a lot too, but see it more as a middle name.

Something along the lines of Lily Evermore, Holly Evermore...does it work?

Well, people have used them, so they work in that way.

I could get used to it if I met someone named it, but right now, Ever doesn't sound pleasant to me as a name. Everest, Even, Eternity, Ivor, River, Everly sound better to me, and I don't even like those. It sounds incomplete, like Avery would without a Y or like "ever...?" I guess it could be a trendy NN because of Everly and Everest, but Ev seems more likely.

I hear Evermore as an inverse of nevermore, plus it reminds me vaguely of surnames like Fillmore. I don't think I've seen/heard the word used (it seems antiquated like "verily") except in "The Raven" which I think most Americans would study in middle school, so it seems goth in a preppy way that I don't care for. If I wanted a name that reminded me of that, I'd just go with Lenore or possibly Raven. I know it's a Taylor Swift album also, but it reminds me of Poe and sounds purposely antiquated in that context too.

My favorite Ever* name is Evergreen, mostly as a MN but not with Holly. My 2nd favorite would be Everett but as masculine.

I like Holly Evermore more than Lily Evermore.

Ever feels just a bit too short, so I would prefer Evermore. Ever can always be the nickname! I like the association with the poem personally.

I much prefer Ever. Because of the use of evermore and nevermore in Poe's famous poem "The Raven", Evermore just feels too creepy for me to seem appropriate as a given name.

I pick Ever out of the two. I also prefer Evermore as a middle name, it's too much as a first name because it's too word-y for me. I like how Ever is short and simple, and I would use it because even though it's more unusual, there are words like Grace, Hope, and Faith, that are used as names.

I like Lily Evermore.
