Re: June

I love the vintage or retro feel that month names have. I would've said peak 1950 for June but apparently it is earlier than that. June is my favourite for girls (Junie or Juno are sweet nn) and May (or Mae) is lovely, too. I like the Mae spelling - it reminds me of old Hollywood actresses, such as Mae West. August, nn Augie or Gus is my favourite for boys.
I like April for girls, as well. July I could see working for boys, with JuJu or Jules as nicknames.
I like the idea of January (nn Jan), November (nn Nova) and December (nn Deci) for girls, and October (nn Toby) for boys, however I'd prefer them as character names.
You start to loose me around September (nn Tembi? Sep? nah), February (nn Feb? Bru? nope), or March. Marchie I don't like. I'd rather hear March used as a middle name. Overall for the most part I prefer the shorter month names as the longer ones feel too heavy for everyday use.
