Adeline
Could you get away with pronouncing this ad-eh-lyn? I love the sound of Adelyn, but dislike the look.
Adeline is similar to Madeline, which I usually hear as mad-eh-lyn, so does it work?
I have met a French Adeline (-leen) and I only know it in English speaking countries through the song (-line).
Thoughts?

In the USA most people are going to pronounce Adeline to rhyme with "line" when they first see it.
If you don't like the spelling Adelyn, there are other spellings that would more likely give you a -lin pronunciation. Have you considered Adelin, Adelinn, Addalyn, Adolin, Adylin, etc.? Adalynn was actually the most common spelling of this name in the USA in 2022.

It has the -line ending to me. If you want the -lyn ending, then it’s Adelyn for me.
I usually pronounce it with the line ending
-lyn I think is definitely an acceptable pronunciation. In the US I think most people say -line but -lyn wouldn’t be odd at all.
I would pronounce it Ah-deh-leen but I am French so it probably doesn't help of you wanna know how it's pronounced in the English speaking world.
