Yes, I agree wholeheartedly! I befriended an old woman named Dagmar and she's so funny and kind and we always banter. She reinvoked my love of her first name.
Isn't funny how a middle name can change the look of the whole name? Dagmar Lily sounds sweet, but Dagmar Sylvia & Dagmar Elvira have the 'old-world' charm that I love.
