Claudette is much worse than Claudia.

Not a fan of the name personally. My great aunt had two very spoiled and bratty poodle mixes that were named Claudette and Odette. I just think it reads pretentious.

Claudia to me is forever connected to the Babysitter's Club and I like it well enough.

I'm not a fan of ette names, because they feel hard and dated to me. But Claudette isn't too bad. It's a bit less chilly than Claudia, even though I actually do like Claudia better.

I prefer Claudine but it’s not bad. I have known a Claudia more than 20 years ago so I do have some association issues with it. Her mother was in a big part of the issue so I’m slowly getting over it as ultimately it was not the child’s fault.

I like it, cute but not overly cutesy.
