Sharinda
I’ve always loved the name Sharon as a girl’s name, but for a few months, I’ve been loving the name Sharinda (though, I had yet to post about it 😬). I thought it up in my brain, trying to come up with alternatives to Sharon. I don’t think that I invented this name, because surely there’s someone else called Sharinda in this world, but I’d never heard it. I pronounce it as “Shuh-rihn-duh,” and I find it so unique, pretty, and interesting. What are your thoughts, and do you prefer Sharon to the name Sharinda? Sharinda is my current favorite girls name. I think some beautiful name combinations are Sharinda Faye, Sharinda Estelle, Sharinda Connie, Sharinda Lucy, and Sharinda Maven.

Not really liking Sharon or SbarindaFaye as a mn works well, Estelle is bumpy with fn, Lucy is nice and I think Maeve works better I can't seem to hear air in Barrow

Seems to me if you like Sharon so much you wouldn't need to try and dress it up.
Sharinda sounds very dated to maybe the sixties. It sounds like a rather stereotypical Black name, probably because Sharonda was rather popular for Black girls around that time. Such names tend to fade from fashion very quickly.

Your opinions are understandable; the only reason I dressed up Sharon was because the “air” sounds in my last name. If I were to ever have a child that bore my last name, I probably couldn’t use Sharon because of that. So, I thought it would be a nice alternative.

Just a friendly tip not to post your last name just in case. Internet Safety 101. Sharon seems a bit dated to me, but then again, I am of an older age (i was born in 1986) so for me personally it was popular amongst my mother's friend group.
