Abril
Last night (or possibly early this morning) I had a bizarre dream (as I normally do. 😅) and in one small part of the dream, I dreamt of "Abril" not of a person surprisingly, but rather of an exotic fruit. They were the size and shape of a table grape, maybe a little bigger, but had a hard outside texture and were the color of pink lady apples, with some having orange spots on them. I forget how they tasted, or, rather, what my unconscious mind decided, but they had a soft texture on the inside that looked remarkably similar to that of a dragon fruit. So I guess you can say they were sort of a hybrid between an a grape, an apple and a dragon fruit. I have no idea why my dream-state mind decided to call them Abril fruits, or what even lead me to even dream of the name, but what do you think of it? Are there any name-related dreams that you've recently had, person or otherwise object?"Has the planet gone mad? My brother... passion's hostage. I seek justice! Denied. I shall not submit! I shall conquer! I shall rise! My name is Gomez Addams, and I have seen evil! I have seen horror!"

My husband's cousin is an Abril. It's a cute name, and it sounds so nice in their native Spanish.... But I make Abril sound like some kind of over the counter allergy medication.

Oh, I hear that! 😅 I tend to make it sound like an over-the-counter allergy medication as well. So you certainly aren't alone there.
One of the strangest things about the dream was when I awoke. I know the name is Spanish/Hispanic, yet my dream for one reason or another, took place in a small town in China (apparently, and the food was native to the country.) But I guess my unconscious and sleep state mind decided to forgo any facts or any basic knowledge about the world, because why not? 🤪

I have a unit helper in my brownies called Abril. She is Peruvian and a lovely person who is also brilliant with the girls so I have good associations with the name.I haven’t had any dreams involving names for a few weeks now. The last one I had though was after I looked at stories I had written as a 12 year old. It was two brothers Richard James Philip Henry (Pip) and George William Thomas Alexander (Tom). Only the nicknames appeared in the dream.
