Adria
Adria is a name I came across today. WDYT?
For me I don’t mind it but I feel it’s trying too hard to be something it’s not.

As in, the Adria-tic Sea? I dislike geographical names in general, and an Adria would spend her entire life explaining that she isn't Adrienne or Adriana. That said, I love Adrian and would happily use it. I know a transing person who has chosen Adrien as their new name. There's no French connection that I know of, and I wish their decision had been Adrian: Adrien in an Anglophone environment is just asking for an -ne at the end.
I like it. I think it's better than Adrienne, better than Adriana, and miles better than Adrian-on-a-gal.
I don't see what it would be trying to be, other than a fem form of Adrian formed like Julian / Julia etc. It's a tiny bit artificial (because Adrienne and Adriana exist), but I think not more so than Aria as a name, and definitely not more so than something like Collins or Everleigh.

Sorry don't like it
