Three names

Dawn - I like the sound, it's very sweet and pretty, but too outdated (even as middle name imo). I can only picture it on a grandmother.
Penelope - One of my favourite names. Even longgg before it became so popular. Why did it become so popular? It's so different in style to the other popular names. (genuine question). I love the nickname options as well; Pip, Poppy, Nellie, Penny etc
Marietta - I know an 101 year old woman named Marietta. She's a hoot! She doesn't mince her words and she's quite proud. I think this describes the name as well.
Dawn Marissa, Penelope August, Marietta Evangeline

I don't like Marietta at all - I don't like the -etta part.
My favourite is Penelope and my least favourite Marietta.
Dawn Rosalie
Dawn Johanna
Dawn Olivia
Penelope Jade
Penelope Laine
Penelope Viola
Marietta Hailey
Marietta Julie
Marietta Chloe

I love Dawn and would actually not mind using it or having it for my name. Dawn Marie? Dawn Maria? Dawn Michelle? Dawn Alexis? Dawn Valerie?
Penelope has always sounded like a Muppet's name to me. It just sounds silly and comical.
Marietta is a bossy, fussy, overly-decorated faded southern belle of a name.

I don’t like Dawn, it’s extremely dated here in the UK. I would pair it with something traditional:
Dawn Elizabeth
Dawn Rebecca
Dawn Katherine
Marietta is pretty and underrated. I like it, though I prefer Marianne.
Marietta Claire
Marietta Fern
Marietta Pearl
Penelope is my favourite, I absolutely love it, and the nickname Penny is so cool. I don’t like the fact that it’s rising in popularity though…
My favourite combo is Penelope Jean or Penelope Jane. If I were to use it I would go with Penelope Sarah.

Dawn is cute, but my least favorite as well. It lacks substance. I used to dislike Penelope as it sounded too posh to my ears, but it has grown on me. Marietta is my favorite out of the three, it's pretty frilly and underrated.
Dawn Alice
Dawn Cecily
Dawn Eleanor
Dawn Phoebe
Dawn Violet
Penelope Astrid
Penelope Grace
Penelope Juliet
Penelope Matilda
Penelope Vivian
Marietta Adeline
Marietta Eloise
Marietta Imogen
Marietta Primrose

I love Penelope and would use it IRL.
Marietta is too ornate for me; I much prefer other versions of Mary.
Dawn is flimsy and sentimental; I much prefer Eve!
Penelope Ruth; Penelope Jane; Penelope Margaret for a vintage vibe
Marietta Lucy
I know a Dawn Sandra
