I knew a Dorothea at school; usually I don't enjoy FOURsyllABle names with that rhythm, but for some reason Dorothea doesn't bother me at all. I like it better than Dorothy, even though Dorothy is a family name which usually swings it for me.For the record, Dorothea never went by a nn.
