Chrétien
What do you think of Chrétien? I really like it.

It's quite handsome! I wish it didn't look like creatine though
It’s a bit cumbersome. Christian is more common even in Francophone areas in my experience.
It is the last name of a former prime minister. So, he is all I think about when I see this name.
I'm not good enough with French pronunciation to enjoy it. But it has appeal as a nifty historical name.
Not much as a modern baby name, IMO.
I don't care much for the "kret" sound, or the way Chret- looks.
I'd prefer Christian, Étienne, Gretchen, or Gratien.
Honestly if it were used today by an English speaker, I would think "maybe a non-Christian who likes the shape of the name Christian but doesn't want anyone to recognize it."

I don't like it
It's cool and unique.
I know about the medieval bearer, but I just cannot un-see (or -hear) "cretin." I'm sorry.
