I haven't meet anyone named Mckenna and Makenna, actually. I feel like I've heard of more girls named Makayla and Mikayla (and various spellings) though. I'm kind of not surprised that it that Makayla isn't as popular anymore, I feel that within the last decade or so that many girls were given that name.
Admittedly, I'm not a fan of Mckenna or Makenna. I don't like names starting with "Mc" at all and the alternate spellings starting with "Ma" don't look quite right to me.
I'm not a fan of the "Makayla" spelling. I've seen "Mckayla", which I think doesn't look very nice. I prefer Mikaela, then Mikayla and lastly Michaela. Though my favourite feminine form of Michael is Micheline, Michelina and Michalina.
