Denise
Not a name I ever liked (until recently?) but I have a coworker, age 21, named Denise. I’ve never met a Denise, young or old, but was surprised to learn it was her name, given the datedness of Denise. Wdyt?

Nothing inherently wrong with the name, it just evokes a specific time period to me, where the name was commonplace. I went to a music camp with someone roughly my age with the name Denise in 2006 or so, and it just seemed so out-of-place to see it on a girl who would now be about 30.

I love, love the name Denise, but I had an aunt with the middle name Denise (she used to go by it as a little girl); for that reason, I don't know if I could use it (personal family reasons). I totally recommend this name to anyone considering it, though.

My car's name is Denise because she's worn down but reliable and classy. She also used to be my sister's......

I associate it with aunts born in the 1960s. It's not an unattractive name, though.
