By mermaid names, do you mean what would we name a mermaid character, or do you mean, of the names that have been used on mermaid characters, which do we like the most?

When I think of a name associated with mermaids, I think of Lorelei, but her story was tragic. Calypso was a nymph or sea goddess, but it might be cool on a mermaid.

Names that might work on mermaid characters although they aren't all favorites:
Dione
Karen - Japanese for water lily. Plus I would find it entertaining if there was a mermaid named Karen.
Naia
Nerissa
Undine
