I like it. I'm trying not to use any other obvious word names in these combos even though they keep popping into my head. (Zinnia is such a namey word that my brain tries to match it with middle names as if it were a non-word name). Zinnia Beatrice
Zinnia Elizabeth
Zinnia Katherine / Kate
Zinnia Valery
Zinnia Marquette
Zinnia Marguerite
Zinnia Rachel
Zinnia Persephone
Zinnia Penelope
Zinnia Kathleen
Zinnia Jade
Zinnia Jane
Zinnia Elaine
Zinnia Calliope
Zinnia Colleen
Zinnia Laurian
Zinnia Lorien
Zinnia Helen / Helene
Zinnia Leonie
Zinnia Guinevere

There was a Sharon Creech novel where the central character was named Zinnia, nicknamed Zinny. I've thought it was kind of odd that certain plant names are deemed acceptable or even desirable - Lily, Rose, Fern, etc. - whereas others are less so. Then again, would I ever name a child Orchid or Tulip? Zinnia isn't quite as bad as the last two, but it still doesn't float my boat. That said, it'll be interesting to see if Zinnia becomes more widely accepted in the future, as the name has recently debuted on the lowest regions of the popularity lists.
