Futuristic baby names
What names do expect to see cropping up in the future? And by that I mean, in a couple of centuries (if humanity survives that long).
I think maybe some extreme word names like,
Helix, Horizon, Puzzle, Country
Pixel, Canary, Moon, Electricity

In 2223, I'm going to guess that there will be multiple trends going on simultaneously.
There will be parents that really want to remember the past or who are attracted to a retro feel, so maybe a mixed bag of names like Athelstan, Herman, Floyd, Lucille, Nyla, and Ethel. Since our present day would also be really old (like we think of the 1800s), Olivia and Liam might make a comeback.
I suspect Islam will still be a very common religion, so there will be quite a few Arabic names.
For fun, I'm going to predict a trend of mythology inspired names like Rhea, Apollo, Juno, Artemis, Vulcan, Tian, Fuxi, Guanyin, Amaterasu, Inari, etc...
Depending on whether 2223 is an era of optimism or morose doom-saying, I would expect either some exploratory reach for the stars and nature loving names like Vega, Cosmo, and Terra or something end timesish like Repent or Omega. Optimists are probably more likely to have kids, so perhaps Hope and Esperanza.

I def. agree with the word names. I think we'll also start seeing a lot of names such as Kai or Noa which work in multiple languages, given globalization/multiculturalism. I think another user also mentioned trendy names coming from different languages, which also makes sense to me, but then again, people have been a bit more concerned about stuff like cultural appropriation these days, so I think that that could go either way. I think it's also likely we'll see a lot of pop culture names as well, given the rise of mass media.
Probably more names will start being considered unisex as well - right now, we have a lot of names that moved from masculine to feminine (Evelyn, Courtney, etc.) - maybe we'll start seeing names like Alecto and Hayley on baby boys? (Though that might just be wishful thinking on my part.)
I'm really curious about the future of 'meaningless' names like Zayden or Paeden - I think we might see more in the future, but I have no clue what they'd look like.

I think in a couple of centuries, the naming pattern/trend will repeat itself, isn't it? I agree with you though -- several extreme word names may chart up. I imagine there will be babies called Desert Star, Lyrical Rose, Starry Eve, or even Stellar Serein, lol.
Also I don't know why, but I have a feeling that several Indian names (Lakshmi for example) will get caught by public attention and use them for their child, apart from their race. Some more African, African-American, Arabic, and Japanese names could also rise in popularity, just like their peers Leilani, Keisha, Aaliyah, and Tamiko did.

Desert Star is annoyingly pretty 😂 for a cat though, not an actual human.
I've seen a lot of neopagans (usually women) adopting names and surnames in that style
I could see Nebula, Tesla, Cypher, and Serendipity emerging as given names.
I know 2 girls named Tesla in their early 20s
