Veda is neat! There is something simultaneously ancient and futuristic about it. I love the meaning.

I had a great-great aunt Veda.It sounds old/vintage to me (yet I know it's made a comeback) - the same age as Viola, Opal, Blossom, Vera, Pearl, Irma, Vesta, Velma, Wanda, Winnie, Fay, Astrid, Mozelle, Pansy, Clarice, Lillian...It's pithy, and I like that about it.
I go back and forth on whether I like it slightly or a lot.
Most days, I'd prefer to use Knowledge or Sophia.

I like it based on sound.My first association is the character in Mildred Pearce. The other daughter was named Moire(pronounced like the fabric) nicknamed Ray.
