It's fine but okay.
Its nice, I like it.
I knew an inordinate number of girls named Tessa growing up. I've wondered if there was something regional about the name because I've only encountered it in the area where I grew up, and nowhere else.
It's fine. I've always thought it sounded like an unfinished diminutive of Theresa, more of a nickname than anything else. But it's fine.

I like it as a nickname for Elisabeth, but it's just ok on its own.
I totally agree with Anneza!
In Italy it works very well too!

I'd have a Tessa daughter without hesitation. Neat and tidy, energetic and cheerful, never too popular or too dated - what's not to like?
Love it
