Re: Thoughts on these girl names?

Sticking an e on the end of Kay and Sloan seems pointless.
Kay is fine as a nn.
Sloan(e) is all surname, and I don;t like lnfns without a strong family connection.
I much prefer Laura to Laurel.
Samantha is dated and comes across as fake: a merger between Sam (We wanted a boy, but ...) and, perhaps, Anthea? I dislike it.
I prefer Helen to Helena (HELena? heLEEna? heLAYna?)
Celeste isn't too bad: a lot to live up to, and the only one I know hates it with a passion and will not answer to it.
