I always loved the urban legend that she called herself Theda because it's "death" rearranged. Such a vamp.
I like Theda, although I stumble over the pronunciation: is it thee-da, thay-da? I use both and I'm never satisfied with either.
It's so dramatic but also rather humble, almost frumpy in a certain light, I like that about it.
