Xander, with this spelling, is one of my favorite boy names! I like Zander as well, but I prefer Xander. Avianna is interesting, but I can’t get behind it; I don’t know why. As for the sibset, it goes fine together.

I prefer Xander to Zander, but both are OK and a whole lot better than Alex.Avianna is awful! Avian = bird-like. A bird-like female human - really? Pigeon? Passenger Pigeon? Vulture? Not a good idea, and I don't enjoy the sound either.

Zander is ok, don't like the other names. Ava would be better

They're fine. Zander looks to me like an obvious short form of Alexander. Sort of like "Alexander is too formal but please not Alex please"
Avianna makes me think of birds, and that's funny to me, so I don't really care for it. It's not awful, though.

Alexander is too formal but please not Alex please" ,- exactly. My husband was bullied by a kid named Alex, he detests the nickname. People are still going to use a nickname, so Zander/Xander it is.That said: Most people don't expect a Xander to be a 45 year old man.

I have seen that spelling of Zander before and I think it’s a species of fish. I don’t mind Zander but wouldn’t use it. I’m not a fan of Avianna but like Ava, Anna and Evy.

It is a species of fish. That said:
Back in the 1970s my mother-in-law read a book. It had a main character named Alexander that went by the nn Zander. IT's the reason she fell in love with the name. My FIL dislikes NNs, none of the kids use them = except for my husband. He started using Zander in college, then changed the spelling due to the fish. He now uses Xander, which annoys his mom. Xander/Zander is just a way to keep Alexander fresh. It's like the various nicknames that xcome from Elizabeth/Kathernie and change each generation. Liz, Beth, Betsy, Betty, Elly, Liza, Kate, Kitty, Katie, Kathy. Xander is the 'in' nickname for ALexander, people will use it alone. Just like they did Alex. And it will age and become just as accepted as Alex. My MIL received quite a bit of backlash when she named my husband. Everyone stated that the name was old-fashioned and ugly, that he would be teased. Now people talk about how overused the the name is.

Thank you. I’m in Scotland so the short form for Alexander is Alex pronounced Alec
