Re: Twins I Know/Know of/Made Up
in reply to a message by DLB
Sharon "Shar" and Karen “Kar”: Too similar/rhyming imo
Samuel and Simeon: Very nice names together
Kyle and MatthewMatt”: Certainly not too similar but they don't sound like brother, Kyle seems so modern and trendy and Matthew to traditional
Aiden and Eden: Too similar
Kory and KathrynKaty”: Ok, but I find the K-spellng of Cory contrived
Jannel and Joelle: I only like Joelle
Kelsey and Kennice: NMT
Joan “Joannie” and DebraDebbie”: I would prefer Joanna and Deborah
JenniferJennie” and JessicaJessie”: Jennifer and Jessica are great twin names, if you want the same initial. But Jennie and Jessie are a bit too similar. Ones I Made Up:
Joseph and Abigail (in one of my stories): Great names together
Ruth and Naomi: Almost too good together if you know the bible story
Grace and Faith: Sounds good together but I know many find theme names cheesy (I don't)
Hosea and Isaiah (yes, they are rather close): Very OT
Joannah and Deborah: I really like this combination (see above) though I prefer the spelling Joanna
Zedekiah and Zebedee (a little unusual): Too close imoThe silly ones would be great for pets like hamsters and guinea pigs.

I enjoyed reading your comments and agreed with most of them. I like Ruth and Naomi especially because of the story in the Bible (it's a really good, as well as many other Old/New Testament names.
