The only association I have is my sister mentioning a friend named Adair once when we were teenagers and I thought it was a girl's name until she told me otherwise. I do like it for a boy now, but still can see it on a girl. I think because it rhymes with Claire.

I like Adair. It's one of those names I like as a middle name more then a first name. In my book it's only used as a male name. For me it doesn't work as a female name at all.
I have no associations with Adair.
