Tree
I just learned that Taylor Swift's publicist is named Tree Paine. I have no idea if that's her full name, or if it's a nickname. What do you think of Tree? Hmm. Your ideas are intriguing to me, and I wish to subscribe to your newsletter.

Composer Tree Adams worked on NCIS New Orleans. I've always accepted it as just another nature name. Not yuck, but not my style

I've met a guy named Tree before. I'd never use it but I kinda like it. It would be awkward on an "indoorsy" person though.I would almost assume Tree Paine is some kind of pun on trepanning/trepanation?

Like someone else said, it’s a bit unfortunate when paired with a surname like Paine. I don’t like it, I’d prefer something more specific - like what type of tree is it? Rowan? Sequoia?

Really? I think it kind of works with the surname, in a weird way.

I met a guy named Tree once. I was young then, so it has always just seemed legit to me. Not one I particularly like, but not awful.
I think it's a little unfortunate-seeming when paired with the surname Paine, though.

I prefer it more as a nickname than a full name, but I’m not entirely sure how I feel about it. It’s certainly an interesting choice for a nickname. I think it’s more suited for a fictional character than a real person. In the movies “Happy Death Day” and it’s sequel, the main character’s name is Theresa "Tree". Imo, it works for her.
