Sigal
I've known this girl named Sigal for a minute now, and it's pronounced SEE-gal, what do you guys think? What would you pair it with? Would you prefer another violet name?

Violet itself is a lot nicer. I'm not a huge fan of the look or sound of Sigal.
It also reminds me of terrible "actor", all-round lunatic idiot and dictator-lover, and general awful, awful human being Steven Seagal.

my mother's name is Sigalit, which is a slightly more feminized version. I think it's a nice name, though I've never seen it on a woman younger than 50 herr in Israel.

It’s ok but not my favorite Hebrew name, sounds a bit like “seagull “ in English.

I'm sure it was sound beautiful if I heard pronounced the correct way. It's seems nice and I like the meaning.Names I like with "violet" or "purple" meanings:
Iolanthe
Iolanda
Iolanta
Yolanda
Yolande
Iantha
Iole
Iola
Violetta
Viola
Amethyst
Wisteria

It kinda reminds me of seagulls, so I’ll pass. I prefer Ianthe or Yolanda.

It’s gorgeous, the Hebrew word is pronounced see-GAL, so either emphasis works.

Don't like it, I prefer Yolanda or Jolanda as Violet names

As a personal preference I tend to like longer, frilly names for girlsz but again, that's just me.
It's not a bad name fwiw
It's definitely far more interesting than the top 10: Olivia, Sophia, Olivia... Sophia...hehe did I say Olivia yet?
