Qadrea
The name of one of my cousins and she pronounces it kaDREEA. Her dad is from Lebanon and it’s a Lebanese name.
I like the sound but think the spelling would cause a few problems. WDYT of Qadrea?

I don't see it as being hard to pronounce if you take the time to think about it. The majority (if not all) QA words start with a hard K sound. And "drea" rhymes with Andrea. Simple. And it's got no more spelling issues than Catherine, Katherine, Cathryn, Kathryn, Catheryn, Katheryn, and so on.It's not my style, but it's a nice name as is - no need to anglicise it at all.

If I’m being honest, I think it translates poorly into other cultures, at least western and Latino cultures. I’m sure your cousin is a lovely person and maybe I could tolerate the name with a different spelling but as is, it’s two thumbs way down.
