Re: Top 10 for April (plus ten-year comparison)
in reply to a message by Uilos
My list is currently in the process of being reworked, but I doubt I'll be finished with it in time for the new list to be relevant to this month. So, as it stands, this is my Top 10 for either gender:
Nicholas Evander
Wesley Owen Rhys
Finn Gabriel
Donovan Leo
Malcolm Elliott
Dominic Adam
Harrison Joseph
Jonathan Bennett
Graham Timothy
Thomas William Gray
&
Sabrina Lily Florence
Miranda Juliet
Helena Josephine
Felicity Charlotte
Alice Caroline
Viola Genevieve
Juno Alexandra
Marguerite Emily
Zoe Cordelia
Guinevere Elise
Graham (whose association with the cracker used to put me off - even though I once knew a very nice bearer), Viola, Marguerite, Zoe, and Guinevere replaced Gavin, Willow, Genevieve (now a middle), Lydia, and Julia. This is also the first time in years I've added another middle to my stock combo "Sabrina Lily" - I was thinking it looked a little short.
Ten years ago, these were my Top 10:
Dominic Edmond
Malcolm Logan
Bram Emeric
Richard Everett
Matthew Lawrence
Nicholas Owen
Cameron Ross
Wesley Alden
Kean Elliott
Myles Jerome
&
Juliet Elise
Cordelia Wren
Catherina Simone
Philippa Whitney
Eleanor Constance
Meadow Emily
Ursula Florence
Penelope Lois
Abigail Irene
Morwenna Esmée
I recognize many regulars (Dominic, Malcolm, Richard, Nicholas, Cameron, Wesley, Juliet); but the presence of Kean, Jerome (even as a middle), and Catherina surprise me. Abigail still holds some sentimental value to me, despite her humungous popularity and the fact that she's stylistically different from nearly every other name usually on my list.
