I kinda like it. Diane has that "loud broad" energy I often enjoy. I wouldn't say it's a beautiful name, but it's warm and real. It's an "auntie" name for me; something that has an earthy, casual 70s vibe, like Pam, Cathy, Debbie, Shelly, Donna, Cindy, Sharon, Janet, etc.

I think it could make a great middle name....but meeting a baby named Diane would be SO exciting.
