Donatella
I just posted looking for names to go with the NN Dottie. Donatella caught my eye. What do you think of this name?

I think it's a really nice name, although I've been told by some people that it makes them think of Donatella Versacci.
“The caveman method I abhor, and I do not believe that it is ever successful with the women who is worth having. Who could desire a woman taken by force? Who would gain any pleasure from loving or caressing a woman who did not give in return?"

Donatalla is alright, but I prefer Donata. Donatella taked me straight to Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (Donatello), and I was never fond of that show.
I don't suffer from insanity. I enjoy every minute of it.

Ms. Versace (sp?) immediately pops to mind. But she's not necessarily a bad association, and she won't be that well known in a few years so I wouldn't let it stop me if you really loved the name. It certainly is pretty sounding and has history to it. It's a little grandiose, but then I love Iphigenia and Dulcinea, so who am I to talk?Sure, Donatella, nn Dottie would be cute.

I like it. It's very glamorous.

I immediate think of the fashion designer but I too love the name. However I would never use it because it's so flashy. I could see a drag queen before a baby. I feel this way about Veronica too.

I'd want to call her Telly. :)Donatella immediately reminds me of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (in a good way--Donatello was my favourite, lol). Dottie reminds me of a restaurant we went to when I was a child. Telly reminds me of Telly Monster from Sesame Street (once again, one of my favourites along with Prairie Dawn and Grover). Dona reminds me of "Dona Nobis Pacem," which we sang in all my music classes as a child. This name is like my childhood all wrapped up into four syllables. I approve wholeheartedly. ;DArray

Mick Jagger is older than:
1. Velcro
2. Cake mix
3. IsraelA revolution without dancing is a revolution not worth having.

Makes me think of an aging fake-blonde fashion designer with leathery skin and blown-up lips... :-(
My other association is Nutella.Donata is nice, though.
