Future King of the UK would be named…
What?
This would be for a potential future son of Prince George, of course. I know royal families tend to use the same names over and over, and there could be a chance that George would name any son or sons after a relative of his (like Louis or Philip). But what do you think would be the perfect name for a future king of the United Kingdom?

Maybe Charles or William, nothing really interesting. Albert would be a good choice maybe because wasn't that Queen Elizabeth's dad's birth name? And of course Philip, not sure why they didn't use it for a son's middle name.
For a girl Augusta or something would be cool!

Well, I'd like to see a name which has been well-used in England and/or Scotland since medieval times but has never made it to the throne, such as Thomas, Robert, Roger, Walter, Adam, Hugh, or Geoffrey. For a less common alternative, how about Eustace, the name of the son of King Stephen who was disinherited from the throne because of the peace treaty naming the Plantagenets as Stephen's heirs. Eustace died before his father, but back then there were tales it was of a broken heart because his chance at being king was lost!

Another user did a separate thread for queens.
Yes, I know.
