Iris, it just sounds better though Esme is fine too.
Both are lovely, but it’s Esme for me. I think it’s a very beautiful name.
Esme, I love the sound and meaning. I really enjoy Esmée. I guess I’m the only one who couldn’t care more or less about the Twilight character. Iris has more substance, I’ll give it that - there’s just something about it that puts me off. I have to be in the mood for it. Esme I always like.

I don't care about the Twilight character. She wasn't that memorable, and I knew the name beforehand. There wasn't anything terrible about her if I did associate it with her anyway.

Esme seems like such a sweet name. Iris seems old ladyish and has the weird “eye” sound in the first syllable, which I never like for names.
Iris.
Iris is probably my favourite flower name, but there isn't much competition. I feel uncomfortable with names that begin with an I sound, like the pronoun. And I'd choose Esme anyway: it's a family name, and also the name of one of the best teachers I ever had.
Iris!
Iris is more dramatic. Esme is more laidback.
I'd pick Esme for myself.
I like Iris more for other people's kids.

Esme is more friendly and classic to me
I really love both, but Esme slightly more.
Both like them.
I like Esme, but I will agree with the comments saying it’s too associated with Twilight and how the movie ruined the name.
Iris. Don't care for Esme at all, I did know a snake named Esmee once, and that pretty much covers it.
I don't like either, but if I had to choose it would be Esme
