I think Claire is cute, but Kim is a little old-fashioned for me. Maybe another K name like Kirsten instead? I also like the sound of Claire and Courtney, Claire and Kira, and Claire and Rory.

Theyre both nice names but I they have karen vibes when you put them next to each other. Idk why.

Same initial sound; different initials; one syllable each. OK. Links but not over-twinnish. I prefer Clare. If Kim is Kim, she's more fortunate than a Kim I know, who always and only goes by Kim. Her full name, allegedly found by her father in a book he was reading, is Kimbrian.

Boring, but decent. I enjoy Claire enough. Unpopular opinion here, but Claire doesn’t seems worlds apart from Kim.

Nothing wrong with either name, though because I know a guy Kim, for a girl prefer the full Kimberly, though did once know a Kimberlyn.
