Girl names that go with brother Oliver
We just found out we are having a baby girl. I have been dreaming of having a girl named Ivy but my husband isn’t sold. He loves Margot, but I’m not sold on that one. Some others we like but don’t completely love are Caroline, Charlotte, Amelia.
What name is best, or should we start over with other names? I’m open to suggestions!
Middle name will most likely be June or Lee.

I like all your picks! They all go fine with Oliver. I think Ivy June would be my favorite.
Other ideas (haven't read other respnoses so sorry for repeats)
Rose
Phoebe
Sylvie
June as a first name? Would be much more distinct than your other choices in my opinion. Ooh June Margot
Isidora, too much probably?
Thea
Josephine/Josie
Liora
Vivian/Vivienne
Nora
Any you like? Let us know what you pick!

Thank you! I love Althea nn Thea, but sadly there’s a cousin Thea already. I think right now we are deciding between Ivy and Caroline!
I'd definitely go Caroline
I think of Oliver as classic and timeless, and Ivy as currently fashionable. I could be wrong; it might not matter.
I prefer Margaret to Margot. I don't enjoy Charlotte or Amelia, though Emily is good. I named my daughter Caroline, and it worked very well. I would avoid a name that shares a sound or sounds with Oliver: not Eleanor or Coralie, therefore, lovely though they are. What about a short name for a change? Clare, Joy, Maeve, Ruth? That would be a bit staccato with June or Lee, unless you're open to 2 mns. Clare Amelia June. Joy Charlotte Lee. Ruth Margot Ivy. Maeve Caroline Lee.

Thank you! I think we are now deciding between Ivy and Caroline. I do think Ivy is a little more trendy but it has been around and used for many many years it could still be considered classic, so it doesn’t bother me. :) I am definitely a fan of the classic names though! I do also like Clare.
Don't settle for a name that you don't completely love :)

I prefer Ivy to Margot, but Oliver and Ivy do have a similar sound to them. What about Eve / Eva instead? Or Cleo, Maisie, Maeve or Matilda?
