I knew a Cleone at uni; pronounced kleeOHnee, which might not work for you, but at least you don't need a fada and you could still use Cleo as a nn.

We have two people named Leona in the extended family, so I'm trying to differentiate from that a bit. Plus my family is Irish and I know my father would love for me to use a traditional Irish name.
