Buckley?
What do you think of Buckley
for a boys first name.
do you think it would age well?
and what about middle names?

I think I heard the name on the show King of the Hill. The character was unsmart and sort of trashy. Sorry, that is the only person I have heard called Buckley.

Not attractive sounding. Rhymes with (at least partly) a not-so-nice word. Too surname-y. So, no, I don't like it, sorry. :-/

I know a boy named Buckley. Nice kid, very intelligent. Then there is the singer Jeff Buckley. It could age alright... this Buckley I know is in 7th grade.

I can think of at least three negative associations/possibilities for teasing almost immediately. Now I recognize that these alone are not reasons not to use a name, but when they are this obvious, I say don't use it!
Plus, I don't think Buckley or the inevitable Buck as aging well at all. Sorry! ----Betsy-----

I thought of these two associations immediately:
1. Buckley's cough syrup: "It tastes awful... but it works!"
2. Buckley on King of the Hill, Luanne's boyfriend who was killed when the local mall explodedSo Buckley doesn't really seem like the greatest name to me, sorry. I suppose it would age well enough though.
