Devony
WDYT of Devony?

Where is the accent on this name? DEV-on-y? de-VON-y?
The first has kind of a nice sound, but the name looks too made-up for my taste. It feels like something a teenager would name their kid. If a feminine for Devon is needed, I guess I'd prefer Devonne, although I'm not wild about that, either.

Also, for some reason I like it a bit better spelled with an 'ie': Devonie. Maybe it's because it looks less like an adjective meaning 'like Devon' that way.
I’ve never liked made-up names, but for some reason I can’t hate this. I wouldn’t use it personally, but it’s nice.
It's not by style but it makes sense. It would definitely be good for a character, and I could also see it being popular IRL.
It looks like a mashup but not a mashup of Devon and another name, more like a mashup of Devon and a whole name genre with that internal rhyme scheme (Bethany, Bellamy, Betony, Ebony, Kennedy, Delany, Melanie, Stephanie, Everley, Melody, etc.)

I like it. It's different. It would be perfect for a romance novel heroine.
Devony? Is it an adjective? Doesn't seem suitable to me. I know a man named Devon who carries it off quite well, but Devony, not really.
I agree, it seems like an adjective version of Devon.
Don't like it
