I quite like Godfrey, but mostly as a middle name. It’s vintage and mature. I wouldn’t use it, but it’s not at all a bad name.

I don't really have an opinion on it. I know a 14yo Godfrey and it will forever be associated with him in my mind because it's such an unusual name and I've known him since he was quite little. We call him Godders sometimes as a nickname.

I like it too! Despite the word "god" being in there, it sounds very stylish and attractive. The late Godfrey Gao was my introduction to the name and influenced my perspective of it.

Its completely tied to the movie My Man Godfrey for me, Godfrey is basically William Powell in my mind. Classic movie names are among my favorites.
