I've only recently noticed this old-fashioned gem.
(I prefer DEH-lee-a to DEE-lee-a.)
And I can't but compare Delia to Adelia, (and to unrelated) Delilah and Dahlia.
And it seems, that soft mellow Delia is overshadowed by flamboyant Adelia, dazzling Delilah and vibrant Dahlia.
Even though, I'd still prefer Adelia to Delia, I find the latter endearing and quite interesting.
